Biography

Born and raised in Pasadena, Texas, I attended South Shaver Elementary, Queens Intermediate, and I am a 1972 graduate of Pasadena High School. My parents, who were also graduates of Pasadena High School, began a business “Bass and Meineke Auto Parts” in Pasadena 1956. The business grew through the 1980s to over 30 stores and employed over 300 people in Pasadena. My family still has one location on Pasadena Boulevard.

I have lived in my district over 35 years, and have been married 37 years to my wife Fran Bass; we have 3 children who are also all graduates of P.I.S.D.
