Library Advisory Board


The purpose and duties of the Board shall be to advise the City in polices relating to library services. Please click here to view the Code of Ordinances that this board abides by.


There are 7 voting members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Additionally, the Superintendent of the Pasadena Independent School District, or an Assistant designated by the Superintendent, shall be an ex officio non-voting member of the Board. The term limit is 2 years.

The Library Advisory Board meets quarterly on the second Tuesday of the quarter at 5:00 PM at the Central Library located at 1201 Jeff Ginn Memorial Drive.
