Starting salary for basic academy cadet - $69,944.91*
$10,000 hiring incentive/sign-on bonus for police cadets who meet eligibility criteria or increased entry pay for qualified lateral transfers.
Officer top salary $97,636.03*
Lateral entry candidates starting salary depending on completed years of service, minimum of three years ($78,991.41) maximum of five years ($82,367.30) as recognized by the Chief of Police.
15 days vacation per year - starting - 10th year of service, 20 days 11th - 20th year of service, 25 days from 21st - 25th years of service, and 30 days from the 26th year of service and on.
