The Pasadena Police Department will be offering a women’s self-defense course beginning March 30, 2022. This is a four-day course, which will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm each night.

Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) provides effective options by teaching women to take an active role in their self-defense and psychological well-being. R.A.D. is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques. It is a comprehensive self-defense course for women that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and avoidance while progressing to the basics of hands-on defensive training.
