The Pointe Apartments on Shaver has sewage coming from buildings and running into the makeshift storm drains leading to the front retention ponds. Our apartment complex is a sewage storage facility? I personally have not had steady flowing hot water since Thanksgiving of last year. Despite my several requests for repairs, I have no other options left, but to figure out how to get down to the courthouse to file a case against them. Also, management recently closed our drive in security gates. This has left residents with no escape if an emergency were to occur. The nearest gate to walk out of is near the office, quite a distance from the back of the apartments. The fire or emergency gates are locked with a chain and lock and the fireman's access box is empty with no extra key. The apartments have used unlawful tactics to scare residents. I suggest a place where residents like myself can go to have their voice be heard when landlords don't follow the state laws for their property.
