If you are interested in helping at the Pasadena Animal Shelter, there has never been a better time to get involved. We are starting many new, exciting volunteer programs, like our kennel enrichment program, and need more help than ever before.
Volunteers can help with things like: dog walking, preparing and cleaning dog toys & treats, sorting newspaper, picking up litter that blows in to dog play areas from the street and parks, going on Doggie Dates, helping at adoption events and more. Now, volunteers can even take dog treats and enrichment toys home, prepare them for our dogs and drop them back off at the shelter later in the week! (Think of it as Doggie Takeout.)
There are new volunteer hours too:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Dog walking from 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.)
Tuesday/Thursday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Dog walking from 11 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.)
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Dog walking from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.)
